![]() Here are the top myths and misconceptions about how a bodybuilder lives and works out... - They look good WRONG! They actually look fat and over-sized alot of the time when they're not in the gym. Go find pro-bodybuilders when they're off season and they'll look like 300lb gorillas with fat all over. They actually only shape up like a couple months before competition time. That's when they're actually in the gym. They also look TOO big to a point that it makes them unattractive. Most girls will agree with what I'm saying if you care to survey them.
- They are the strongest people on earth WRONG! The strongest people on earth are the ones you see in those strongman competitions and powerlifting competitions. Alot of pro bodybuilders will weigh like 250 pounds and bench twice of their weight - 500lbs. But a 148lb powerlifter can lift like 3 times his weight - 450lbs. Don't believe me? Go look it up for yourself. Search "powerlifting records" on google.
- They kick ass WRONG! The people that kick ass are those that trainin wrestling, boxing, muuy thai, and MMA. A bodybuilder stands NO chance whatsoever against a trained fighter. Why? Bodybuilders are too bulked out and have less range of motion. Their beefed muscle is unnatural and requires more energy and oxygen to perform. Their muscle will give out less power, and tire quickly and easily. A bulked out bodybuilder will also have huge speed and flexibility disadvantages that make them unable to react quickly and get in and out of position.
- They workout everyday WRONG! Bodybuilders give their muscles plenty of rest and many will repeat the same workout like only once every 10-18 days or so. The ones that DO workout everyday actually put light days into their training.
- They're all dumb Wrong again, most bodybuilders will lecture your head off. They practically know as much as any fitness trainer, chemist,nutritionist, success coach, and more. These guys are health nuts and obsessed with fitness and have probably read thousands of pages on it.
