This fight is actually a very easy decision for me. I'm picking Miguel Cotto by an easy decision and maybe even a knockout win. Judah's got the power and speed to defeat Cotto but I'm still picking against him for one reason... consistency.

Why consistency? Judah is lousy. He's like the welterweight version of Hasim Rahman. Sometimes he's on his A-game, sometimes he brings his B-game, C-game, and so on. I'm sorry to those of your hardcore Judah fans, but a fighter's worth includes their overall assets and consistency is one of them. Judah might have had some great fights, but they have been very on and off lately. I'm sure Judah would take Miguel Cotto seriously but just how serious? The showdown with Floyd Mayweather Jr. was one of his most important fights and we all saw his behavior in the ring.

He's got no class in the ring and he won't have any class outside of it either. I don't even think he's got heart. The only thing Judah can do is get mad, gangster style. Will he be mad enough for Cotto? - I think not.

Miguel Cotto will be the bigger fighter and the stronger puncher. Cotto will push forward all night long and Judah will get tired, get lazy, and get rowdy in the ring but he won't win. I think it's safe to say that both fighters have a vulnerable chin; Cotto for getting wobbled by fringe contender DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley and heavy hands no-name Ricardo Torres Judah could considered "chinny" for being knocked down by soft-puncher Cory Spinks and knocked down silly by Russian sensation Kostya Tszyu (3 knockdowns from 1 punch!). There is one thing about the vulnerable chins however. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Cotto is one of the best hurt fighters I've ever seen. He gets hurt, wobbled, and knocked down yet he still remains calm and fights back until he has regained his composure. Judah...he just stops caring about the fight; lucky for him, sometimes his skills are enough to pull him through (no-name 38 year old Rafael Pineda). Other times, *cough* Carlos Baldimir *cough*, he loses a fight he was supposed to win.

As much as I really don't want to see this one go the distance, I think it will. Judah's athleticism should be able to keep him upright throughout the match as long as he's moving backwards and running away from Cotto. Judah has ALL the tools needed to beat Cotto but I still don't think he'll be able to do it. I think Judah may even be past his prime. Miguel Cotto is growing into his 147 body and we all know that he WILL push the fight. Judah will probably clown around the 2nd half of the fight much like Roy Jones in the 3rd Tarver fight, and then get a rematch based on the 3 rounds that he'll won from Cotto. Cotto is a good all-around fighter and his level of quality of wins is rising. He has shown time and time again that he will do what it takes to win. If you look at his fights, you will see that other than the early rounds that he loses taking the time to figure out his opponents, he wins rather easily. Cotto comes package with physical tools but he uses his head and that...it what's going to beat Judah easily. I have Cotto by wide decision or late knockout, it all depends on which Judah is showing up.
