Jermain Taylor is facing off with Kelly Pavlik in just a couple hours. To make it simple. I find him to be more refined, has a better trainer. He's fought against better opposition and more elusive opposition. His punches flow better and he has better footwork. Kelly Pavlik does hit hard and he does show excellent defense by using his back hand to block from all angles while returning fire with the left. Taylor also has a better trainer and will not have a hard time trying to hit Pavlik like he did against Hopkins, Wright, and Spinks. I am 100% certain that Taylor should find Pavlik's face easily throughout the fight. Taylor can box to an easy decision or batter to a 10th round knockout. I do however see Pavlik having a chance of giving Taylor a hard time with his awkward style and unusual punching power. Pavlik doesn't seem to fight so much by the book but he does however fight the exact same way each time. Jermain Taylor has also fought the harder, tougher, more skilled, and more elusive opponents. Pavlik has had very beatable opponents. Taylor's resume is far better and can't be overlooked. The more I look at things the more I think this fight isn't going to be a fight at all. You got a guy with skills, power, and PROOF, going against a guy with just a big punch. It's not even fair.
