Either you knock Klitschko out or he knocks you out. In the case of Sultan Ibragimov, I'm afraid it's going to be the latter.
The Sultan doesn't have much going for him. He's got skills, definitely. He certainly isn't skillful and fast enough to get inside tall guys. I hate the fact that many of his knockouts have come from wild swinging punches; we can be safe to assume that he won't be knocking out Wladimir Klitschko. Klitschko's jab is just going to be too long, too straight, and too hard for the Sultan. The Sultan can lunge and throw all sorts of punches from all angles however he wants but I think Klitschko's straighter punches are going to put him away. The only people who don't get knocked out by Wladimir are the really slick ones or the ones that manage to hurt him. Sultan won't be able to do either. Sultan's brawling style won't intimidate Klitschko in this fight and he tries it again, he be knocked out in within 5 rounds easy. I like Sultan's use of the jab and right hook but I just don't see how his big right hooks are going to land on Wladimir. Wladimir uses his jab way too much to give Sultan to land a right hook. Sultan also looks like the type of fighter that tries to punch faster than his opponent instead of relying on superior timing. Within a few hours, Sultan is going to be shocked when he finds out how ineffective his in & out style of movement will be when he sees just how long Wladimir's reach will be. I'll pick Wladimir by 9th round knockout. If I'm right, Stewart will tell him to relax and wait for Sultan to slow down instead of chasing the little man for the knockout all night.
