I watched the De La Hoya and Steve Forbes fight last expecting an easy win for De La Hoya. The big question though is whether or not De La Hoya actually sold me on his second fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. In a fight where De La Hoya was already established as the bigger, stronger, faster fighter coming into the ring, did he really do enough to impress me? |

Ever since he's gotten involved in a mud-slinging fight with Wladimir Klitschko more people are considering Haye to be a heavyweight threat than ever. This fight has all the makings of an interesting fight. I'm picking Calzaghe for his age, busy hands, and awkward boxing style. Hopkins has fought to a decision nearly every fight in the past few years. He just doesn't have enough power, enough energy, and enough speed to intimidate. A great win against the lethargic Tarver doesn't prove that he can handle the top caliber skills of Joe Calzaghe. |
